All members of your host family Folie have their place and contribute their own strengths at the Hotel Zum Mohren at the Reschen Pass. Even we have different skills and passions, we all pull together to make your stay a really special occasion.
Senior boss Oswald and his wife can look back on many years of experience in the hotel and gastronomy industry. Oswald currently looks after all tasks at reception and is the charismatic “all-rounder” of the establishment. Senior boss Resi is the heart and soul of the establishment, is always ready to listen to your concerns and has an excellent eye for detail. Resi particularly enjoys chatting with the guests.
Dietmar the cook and pastry chef is junior boss and chef de cuisine. He regards himself as “nature’s servant” and places great value on the use of regional and seasonal products. His cakes and desserts reflect his creativity even more. In the evenings he can be found behind the hotel bar where he serves his guests a delicious digestif during social get-togethers. Benedikta, Dietmar’s wife, lovingly takes care of guests, carries out tasks at reception and is primarily responsible for breakfast and evening service in the dining room.
Junior boss Sabine describes herself as an all-round lively character; she is primarily responsible for the public restaurant and the bakery. Son-in-law Emmanuel is a passionate farmer. He runs his own farm, “Fischgader” in Burgeis as well as the hotel’s own farm, “Oberer Alsackhof” in Alsack. He supplies the Hotel Zum Mohren with various home-produced foodstuffs.
